About the Event
Too often we think eating is something to get over quickly while we multitask. But by bringing clear attention to the colors and shapes of our food (as if appreciating a work of art), to the changing fragrances and flavors, to the textures and even the sounds of our food, we find that mindful eating is a practice that can nourish us from the inside out.
Join Dana Byerlee (Mindfulness Meditation Teacher) and Dori Lancaster (Nutrition Educator & Vegan Chef) for an afternoon of food tasting on a deeper level. We will engage all the senses as we investigate healthy raw ingredients, combine them to create two yummy treats, and enjoy them in a way that brings us deeper into awareness and aliveness.
